I've been publishing comic books and artwork for about 6 years, and recently fell in love with animating. It's so nice to be able to fill in all the gaps between the 'captured moments' approach of cartooning.

I think what really makes an animation (for me anyway) is the voice acting, and the characterisation. And I think that good voicing and humour can save a poor animation much better than the other way round. It just so happens that yours wins out on every front anyway. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I think you've achieved greatness with this.
Every flash animator should watch this - there's a chance most of them could learn from it. I know I have!
